What is CBD?

CBD oil, or cannabidiol, is a compound found in the hemp plant. Hemp, which has many industrial uses, is often confused with marijuana. While they are both members of the cannabis family, they are not the same plant. Unlike Hemp, marijuana plants contain high concentrations of THC and other compounds that get a person โ€˜highโ€™. Hemp contains only trace amounts of these compounds. Which brings us to our next point,

It Doesnโ€™t Get You High

But it might relax you, or ease your pain, or help you focus. CBD products contain a tiny amount of THC-.2% or less, according to British law. They wonโ€™t get you high because they donโ€™t contain the compounds that get you high.

So What Does It Do?

Researchers around the world are investigating the possible medical uses of CBD. While much of their work is still in progress, an overwhelming number of everyday users have found that CBD helps them manage a variety of conditions, including:

* chronic pain
* lack of appetite
* muscle aches and spasms
* insomnia
* anxiety and depression
* seizures

Many CBD users who do not experience any of these conditions report that CBD relaxes them and helps them stay calm and focused.

Are There Any Side Effects?

Some people report reduced appetite, diarrhea, drowsiness and/or fatigue when they first started using CBD products. Research also points to CBD being an effective blood thinner, meaning that it should not be used with blood-thinning medications.

How Do I Take CBD?

You can vape it, take it in capsules or tablets, or consume it in foods and drinks. There are also external-use CBD products like massage oilย and lotions.ย

Why Should I Buy From Shark Vapes?

Because this is personal for us. We started this shop after a family member with a chronic condition found more relief in CBD than in prescription medications. (Read our story ~here~ ) Seeing how much CBD products improved her life inspired us to help spread the word and make these products more available to the general public.
